CT-Based Showcase Realty Continues Annual Toy Drive Tradition on December 2nd in Honor of Founder John Donato Sr.

November 15, 2023 – [WATERTOWN, CT] – In the spirit of the holiday season and to honor the memory of John Donato Sr., one of its founding members, Showcase Realty is thrilled to announce the launch of its second annual Toy Drive. As a Connecticut-based and operated real estate agency deeply rooted in family values, Showcase Realty is dedicated to carrying forward John Sr.’s legacy of giving and connection to local communities.

Established in 1993, Showcase Realty has become one of the area’s most trusted agencies known for its unwavering commitment to its clients and community. “When my brother Mike and I were in elementary school, our father took the children next door, whose family was struggling, to pick out bikes. He believed that it was the right thing to do and wanted to teach us about the spirit of giving. The Toy Drive aspires to honor his memory and serves as a beacon of hope that we can make a positive impact in the lives of others,” said John Donato Jr., who took over Showcase Realty as broker and owner in 2021, following his father’s passing.

Toy Drive contributions will benefit Watertown Social Services, Waterbury North End Recreation Center/A Girl Thing and Junior Women’s Club of Wolcott, Inc. The drive will take place on December 2 at Showcase Realty, 216 Davis St, Oakville from 9AM-1PM. Community members are invited to donate new, unwrapped toys for all ages and gift cards which can be dropped off at any Showcase Realty location starting November 17.
